Walk along a beach as the tide is going out and you are bound to find clusters of mussels on the rocks. You will see people harvesting shell fish on the shore at certain times of the year. We prefer to pop in to one of our favourite sea food restaurants where all the hard work has been done by someone else. Seafood always tastes better when eaten at a coastal location!
OK so like every where else in the UK we have been finding it a bit breezy down on the coast at Porth Nanven Beach. It is a spectacular sight though and well worth going down the lane through Cot Valley. About 10 minutes walk from Tremellion.
Mousehole harbour has to have one of the most iconic places in Cornwall. Just a short distance from St Just it is well worth the effort to walk along the cliff path starting nearer the village, or park at the top and walk down. Parking is always tricky so plan to get there early. It is worth it.
