Holiday Cottage
Walk along a beach as the tide is going out and you are bound to find clusters of mussels on the rocks. You will see people harvesting shell fish on the shore at certain times of the year. We prefer to pop in to one of our favourite sea food restaurants where all the hard work has been done by someone else. Seafood always tastes better when eaten at a coastal location!
The footprints in the sand were left by no-one we could see. The beach seemed deserted. The tide was out so we walked round Hawkes Point headland to Carbis Bay. A beautiful day.
Espresso Martini on the Harbour in St Ives after a relaxing trip on the open top bus. It was a sunny but blustery day so we took the open top lands end coaster for a leasurely amble round the villages of west Cornwall. A hop on, hop off service it is highly recommended. The bus stops in St Ives at what has to be the most spectacular drop off point in Cornwall. Hop back on and you’re in St Just in no time at all.
